Recently it was Dr Seuss week at Emily’s school. She came in 3rd place in the whole school with her little costume.
My mother-in-law actually made that hat from scratch. Nice work, eh?

Darkness

The old Blog has been dark for a month. It’s not that I haven’t had anything to say, I have. It’s not that I haven’t had time to say it, because I have. I’ve been doing an odd self-censorship that completely shut me down. I try not to cuss on here, which is sometimes quite a burden as I am a foul-mouthed person. I’ve been shying away from topics that might be uncomfortable to friends and family, but most of the topics in my life are uncomfortable. I try not to repeat myself about hating my job or complaining about the same stuff over and over, but I have many recurring issues in life. Combining all of that basically shut off the spigot of the things I would discuss.
Time for the shackles to come off. It comes down to two choices, talk about the things I want to in the way I want to or shut the whole thing down. I’m not prepared to do the latter, so I’m going for the former.
I, of course, will try to make sure you get plenty of cute kid pictures, too. That’s what most of you come for anyways.
