Shuffling Off The Electronic Coil

I am now the owner of an Ex-Shuffle. May it rest in pieces.

I had it in my backpack last night and accidentally dropped said pack. Twice. During one of those drops it managed to come apart in a manner that suggests it will never go back together. Ever ever.

So now I am iPodless. The question at this point is what I will replace it with. I liked my little shuffle. But a video iPod might be nice.

Any suggestions?

    I like my new Shuffle II. 1 GB, clips to your shirt, and half the price of the older model.

    I don’t particularly crave a video iPod; probably a generational thing. If I were to ever buy one, though, you’d probably have a rough time prying it out of my hands. Another reason I stuck with the Shuffle, :)

    If you’re not against the idea of a refurbished product check out the refurb section of the online apple store. You can save nearly 50% off some models like the nano.

    I have nothing against a slightly used model, I will have to check those out.
