I remember Taylor was a little out of it when we saw her after the competition, but later I heard her talking to her teammates about how excited she was that her family was able to come see her. Also, I hadn't been to Myrtle Beach since college, and I'm kicking myself for not purchasing any property back then. The place has really grown! To everyone, never underestimate the power of a few minutes in a child’s life. In 1953 my mother took me and my sisters back to Scotland for a visit with her parents. The first letter from my father she received in Scotland said, "Here I am all alone...." In those days, nobody (especially Catholics) used ... perhaps even knew ... the word 'suck'. Thank you for reminding me that a good Dad is a good Dad forever. “Here I am all alone in this house and it already sucks.”
