Jonny And The Evil Cyst
There once was a small boy named Jonny and he had an evil cyst. Blah happened and now the cyst is gone.
Scared to death, I was. But he pulled through it like the little trooper that he is. It did involve some removal of his bowels, so he will be in the hospital for 5 to 7 days. He has a private room with a pull out bed and Marilyn and I will take turns watching him. I do the cooped up thing very poorly, so Marilyn will be spending more time in the room than will I. My job will be centered around making Marilyn and Jonny more comfortable and making sure that Emily doesn’t feel left out.
Thanks to all the well-wishers and feel free to leave any good karma that you have for my family in the comments.

That’s the best news I’ve heard in a long time. I hadn’t seen this when you called, but I knew as soon as you said hello how it had gone, because you wouldn’t have been so perky otherwise. Kiss the little recuperee for me.

Caring for the coopees is a very important service. Best wishes to all for a speedy recovery, and for little Jonny, from a Chuck Berry song,
“Go, Jonny, Go! Jonny B. Good.” (and well, that’s from Nancy & I).

I’m happy for you. Poor thing. I’m so glad he will be home soon.

Aunt Tee Tee and Uncle Chris said many a prayer, but we knew the little guy would be a soldier and tough it out. We are so pleased that all is well, and we can’t wait to see him. Take care.
