    Bill Bennett is an ass.

In genetic terms the races are nearly identical. Differences are cultural. To constantly focus on race actually emphasizes a difference between people that does not exist. The problem we are having is a class issue. There are plenty of poor blacks, whites and Hispanics who are in the same boat. Because of our history there is extra sensitivity towards black people. I happen to be white. If you were to call white people stupid or whatever it would not bother me in the least bit. Most people would just laugh if you said that. I think George Carlin says similar things about white people and nobody jumps on his case. He’s funny and he is right. But maybe we should think about other peoples feelings more often. For instance James, you work for a company to support your family not because you love the company at all I gather from your comments. You might consider that it is the same for the people at the car dealership. They are just feeding themselves and their families. Yelling at people who work at the dealership might have hurt their feelings. You might have even ruined their day. They don’t own the dealership or set the prices or policies and even if they did that is their right. Anyone knows that dealers charge more. I always ask about prices before I leave my car anywhere. Then you wouldn’t accept his apology. You have a really big temper and that’s not an attractive quality. I’m going off topic but I figure since so many of your podcasts are about you, we might as well talk about you a bit.

Okay, let’s talk about me for a bit.

Calling white people stupid is wrong. You don’t know all white people. And I’m sure some of the ones you know aren’t stupid, which makes the statement just plain wrong.

However, I do have a temper. It might even be considered a bad one. But the things that get under my skin are individual actions. I get mad at individuals for their specific actions. When I hate ( and I do hate) it is at specific people for specific reasons. People earn my disrespect.

You state that I wouldn’t accept Randy’s apology. That is just plain wrong. He never apologized for attempting to cheat me. He just told me to have a nice day after he cheated me and I didn’t reply. That is called standing up for what’s right, not being mean. I’m sure he can support his family without trying to charge customers for doing nothing. By your logic any thief with kids is just doing what he has to do and shouldn’t deserve any repercussions. We asked for prices before leaving the car there. He wouldn’t give a straight answer without looking at it first.

I agree completely with the first 7 sentences and the next to last sentence of your comment. Everything else is hooey.

When Carlin does it, it’s meant as a joke. Context is *very* important. I don’t consider him to be a racist. He is an edgy comedian and I don’t take him literally.

Sorry to be critical of you. I surely have many faults. It’s okay to hate peoples actions but not okay to hate people. Sometimes it’s understandable. It’s something we all need to work at. The ability to forgive people is often difficult and in my opinion a most admirable trait.
